Return & Refund Policy — Cielocoatings
At Cielocoatings, we stand behind the performance and quality of our wood coatings. Because our products are chemical formulations sensitive to handling, storage, and application, we've designed this policy to protect both product integrity and your right to receive a defect-free product.
Our Quality Assurance Guarantee
We aim to deliver products that meet our stated technical specifications. If you receive a product that is defective or does not meet its technical standards — such as incorrect viscosity, separation that cannot be remixed, or compromised packaging — we offer a 2-day inspection window from the date of delivery to report the issue.
This guarantee does not cover:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Color, shade, or finish variance due to screen display, lighting, or substrate differences
- Products that have been opened for application, mixed with other chemicals, or applied to any surface
- Issues arising from incorrect mixing, thinning, or application
Step 1: Inspect Before Opening
Before opening the container, inspect the exterior packaging for leakage, dents, or signs of tampering. If the outer packaging is damaged upon arrival, note this at the time of delivery (photograph it if possible) — this may qualify as a transit damage claim rather than a product defect, and is handled separately from manufacturing quality issues.
Step 2: Opening for Inspection
If you suspect a quality issue, you may open the container strictly for pre-application inspection. If the product appears solidified, improperly cured, or visibly contaminated before any application, contact us immediately — do not proceed with use.
Step 3: Documentation Required
To file a quality claim, please email us at paintcielocoatings@gmail.com within 2 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the issue (packaging and product)
- A brief description of the defect
Return Condition
For a claim to be accepted:
- The product must remain in its original container
- At least 95% of the original volume must be intact
- The product must not have been applied to any surface, furniture, or wood, or mixed with other chemicals
Products that don't meet these conditions cannot be accepted for return, as we're unable to verify or resell partially used chemical products.
Refund Process
Once our technical team verifies the defect, we will issue a full refund or free replacement, at your preference. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval.

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Cielocoatings reserves the right to update this policy at any time; the version in effect at the time of your order applies to your purchase.
